- Reviewed in the United States on August 2, 2018Students and professionals of astrology will be enriched by this pioneering work on Rahu & Ketu which have been always influential but less understood by most. These powerful nodes can be only ignored at one’s own peril when examining a chart, and applying principles from this book about the nodes will help plug the holes unexplained by positions of other planets. Most of all, I have found that correct interpretation of the influence of these two pseudo planets can throw largely surprising revelations and can even turn the reading of a chart totally upside down compared to reading of other planets. Such is the effect and domination of these planets. After reading this book I personally have begun to start reading a chart from placements of Rahu & Ketu before looking at anything else.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2015This is a great book. The lunar nodes are often misunderstood and have a very negative publicity. This book lays out the actual meanings and significations of the lunar nodes, in a non-judgmental manner. Considering how the placement of the nodes in the birth chart are important determinants of the aspects of life the current soul journey is going to focus on, or revisit from time to time, it would make sense for serious practitioners of astrology to study them more. Prash Trivedi's book would be a great place to start. I would fully recommend this book for anyone looking to understand the fundamental meanings and significations of the nodes, which would prove to be very important in their astrological understanding.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2019The book is very informative and takes you through all of the history and myths. I use it kind of like an encyclopedia, because its hard to read from start to finish. I loved that it discussed synastry and planet aspects, and that it wasn't all gloomy. I will definitely return to this book for reference.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2013Prash Trivedi is one of the great Vedic Astrologers of our time. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the nodes of the moon. Every book he writes is thoroughly researched and presented in a beautiful way to help even the novice understand the sometimes complicated translated material from ancient teachings. Thank you Prash!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2019The book reads as though it is a product of the Google Translate. If that isn't enough, the text is full of blunders such as calling Hercules 'the sun of Jupiter' in the section on Greek mythology. Jupiter doesn't belong to Greek mythology! I bought this title on the strength of people's reviews and expected to read an educated account of the person's research. The book falls short of the mark by a very long way.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2014Prash Trivedi is an amazing astrologer. This book is fantastic as are all of his books! I only wish he would put out more books. Knowledge like his difficult to come by.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2015Good for intermediate and higher level Vedic astrology knowledge seekers. Very informative with excellent referencing of Vedic knowledge storehouse. Writing is very lucid.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2015The comment is not about the content of the book but is directed towards TEAM AMAZON. The INDEX links of this book in the Amazon Cloud Reader/Kindle App are broken and it is an extremely frustrating experience to read this book (books like this one with broken index links) using the cloud reader or on my phone. This is not what I expect of Amazon. Please FIX this. I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing books (digital/hard copy) on Amazon. Hope this is issue is addressed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but not great
I expected more when I ordered it, but I've studied various branches of astrology for over 30 years. The book could've benefited greatly by proper editing. I feel nearly a third of the text could be removed, and make the book better. On the positive side, I enjoyed the mythology and some of the insights were both original and useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really disappointed & feeling cheated
This book is similar content wise to the book of The Rahu Ketu experience ( 275 Inr) . It is written by the same author but sold under different titles . Customers please be careful while picking up the above book as it is priced at rs 3233 .... whereas you can get the same book at 275 rs . Really disappointed & feeling cheated .
